I had so much fun introducing the Indo Yoga Boards to Charlotte yesterday! Thanks to the team at lululemon Athletica Southpark Store in Charlotte, NC for giving me the opportunity to come in the store and play!!! I hope everyone had fun. The Indo Yoga Boards help to build balance and core strength which are necessary for Stand Up Paddleboarding. The boards simulate the instability of doing balance poses and exercising on a Stand Up Paddleboard. 

To make things even more fun lululemon launched their 2013 swimwear (Yoga/Surf) line. With the swim wear, paddleboarding info and Indo Boards no doubt people are excited about water activity! Exciting things happening at Gotta Yoga in Lake Norman tomorrow, Saturday March 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. lululemon Athletica from Southpark Mall will be having a trunk show featuring their yoga and athletic attire. Also My Aloha Paddle Sports & Fitness will be displaying one of their new Suplove Stand Up Paddleboards.There will be door prizes including PaddleFit Sessions and Stand Up Paddleboard Lessons! To top it all off you will have the chance to try out some of Gotta Yoga's classes at no charge! Hope to see you there tomorrow!

Great news!! It's official lululemon is opening a second Charlotte, NC location. Drum roll.........in Birkdale Village in Huntersville! So for my fellow LKN lulu fans we can now save some gas money and get our lulu fix close to home! It will open sometime in July. Grand opening day to be determined. The store will be on the same side of the shopping plaza as Starbucks ....very close to Banana Republic. It will be a complete store, not a showroom and it won't be associated with a studio as some had heard. The lululemon team is now doing their research on the LKN culuture to make sure they understand our unique needs at the lake when it comes to yoga, running fitness in general, Stand Up Paddleboarding and other water sports. More details to come in upcoming months but this is definitely exciting news and to answer the question that a few of my friends are asking right now "Yes, I am jumping up and down flapping my arms"!!!!

I wonder what the actual store will look like?  I've seen some of the outdoor mall locations around the country and they are very cool....like the ones below in Newport Beach.......Whistler.....Vancouver and Montreal

GUESS WHAT!! lululemon released photos of their new swim/surf (and I’ll add paddleboard) collection for 2013!! They said the inspiration for this collection came from athletes involved in beach volleyball, stand up paddle boarding and beach yoga. It is so exciting to see lululemon designing specifically for Stand Up Paddleboarders!!

About the swim fabric
